Right Fork advances to state in NHD competition

National History Day or NHD is an annual competition that middle school students participate in.  It helps students with problem-solving skills, critical thinking, research, and confidence.

Each year NHD frames students’ research within a historical theme. The theme is chosen for broad application to world, national, or state history and its relevance to ancient history or to the more recent past. The 2021-2022 theme was Debate & Diplomacy in History: Successes, Failures, Consequences.

The Right Fork team of Grace Helton, Nevaeh West, and Gabrielle Bullins won the district and regional championships.  Bringing home the gold to Straight Creek.
