    Drill Team

    JROTC cadets who have shown leadership, discipline, and good character, and are approved by the senior aerospace science instructor, are selected to become members of the drill team.  Cadets undergo extensive academic, physical, and drill training.  They also receive hands-on common skill training in preparation for managing all aspects of the cadet group.
     

    Color Guard

    The color guard is a group of cadets who practice drill and ceremony involving the handling of the national colors.  They post colors during opening ceremonies at Bobcats football games.   Color guard members receive free entry to all games in which they post the colors.  The color guard also participates in local parades and other activities, including graduation.
     

    Field Trips

    Cadets go on several Field Trips throughout the year.  During these trips cadets get to visit military installations, learn about military life, fly on aircraft, and participate in several activities such as land navigation, marksmanship, running obstacle courses, and leadership reaction exercises.
     

    Intramural Sports

    JROTC creates teams consisting of cadets and cadre competing in many intramural sports.  These include ultimate frisbee, basketball, soccer, flag football, and more.
     

    Social Activities

    JROTC cadets plan, conduct, and participate in numerous social activites that include a formal dining-out, military day, field trips, and various fundraisers throughout the year.
     
    Rifle Team
    The Civilian Marksmanship (CMP) is a national organization dedicated to training and educating U.S. citizens in the responsible uses of firearms and air guns through gun safety training, marksmanship training, and competitions.  It places its highest priority on serving youth through gun safety and marksmanship activities that encourage personal growth and building life skills
