  • "Gear Up" for Reading

    All six GEAR UP programs and Leadership Clubs in Bell County partnered to promote Literacy at the Read Across America community event held at the Middlesboro Mall on Saturday, March 7, 2020. GEAR UP staff and Club members offered a variety of activities for Parents and Children to build excitement around READING and Parent Engagement!

  • District National History Day Event

    Bell County students participated in the annual National History Day event at the Bell County Community Center on February 12, 2020. Students were judged and provided feedback. Some students will move onto the regional competition held at the Cumberland Campus of Southeast in March.

  • BCHS Choir Students Named to All Festival Honor Choir

    John Saylor, Haley Quillen, Rachel Eldridge, Keisha Wilder, and Madyson Partin auditioned and were selected as members of the All Festival Honor Choir.

  • Bell County District Spelling Bee

    On Wednesday, January 15th, 2020, the 4th through 8th grade Spelling Bee winners from each elementary school met at the BCHS Auditorium for the district competition. Ethan Reese, 7th grader from Yellow Creek School Center, was declared the winner.

  • Page Students Present NHD Project at KEDC CHARGE Event

    On Saturday, November 16th, 2019, the Kentucky Educational Development Cooperative (KEDC) was hosting a CHARGE at the EKU Corbin Campus. Marli Hacker and Kaelyn Miracle, both students from Page School Center, presented their NHD Exhibit Glacier Girl.

  • Bell Central Board Recognition

    The middle school faculty at Bell Central along with principal Jennifer Blankenship were presented with plaques at Tuesday’s Bell County School Board meeting in honor of the school earning a 5-star rating and ranking 2nd in the state.
